RECAP: Peter Wesley, Baby Bones & Prayer Line rocked NN HQ like a sweaty hurricane 8/25!

Alas, another Never Nervous house show has come and gone, and thankfully it was one helluva great time! Thanks to old and new friends, an endless supply of booze, and a fabulous hot dog bar — not to mention the awesome musical acts — this party was about as fun as anything we’ve ever put together. Yeah, it’s easy for me to proclaim this show as a success and a great time considering that I was in one of the bands, but I’m sure anyone that attended would agree that this was a night full of camaraderie and good vibes.

The bill featured Peter Wesley, one of our favorite emcees in Louisville — Baby Bones, one of the baddest new punk/indie rock bands we’ve heard — and Prayer Line, the new horror punk/indie rock band that Jake Hellman and I have the pleasure of being in alongside good friends Jake Miller and Austin Hellman. My house filled up pretty quickly with a ton of beautiful people, all ready to feast on an extensive hot dog bar put together by Miranda Hellman and Jennifer Olympia.

What ensued was a great time full of fun and positivity. No one was an asshole, the cops weren’t called, and everyone was out the door by midnight. That’s about as good as it gets, if you ask me.
