BECAUSE YOU MISSED IT: The Pass & Frederick The Younger rocked NYE at Zanzabar! [Photo Set Included]

There were so many New Years Eve events going on around the city, but I spent mine at Zanzabar eatin’ tots, sippin’ PBRs, and listening to two bad ass sets from two of Louisville’s finest bands. Frederick the Younger opened the night — the sound was fantastic, the foursome brought the energy, and we even got a guitar solo from Aaron, played on his back in the middle of the crowd. Their White Rabbit cover was unique and the band made it their own.

The Pass rang us in to 2018 with a full set of Bruce Springsteen covers that surely did The Boss proud. The intimate acoustic “Atlantic City” cover gave me chills, Jenni from Frederick the Younger joined them for “Blinded by the Light”, and we all danced after the ballon drop to “Born in the U.S.A.”

It truly was a fantastic night at Z-Bar. I hope everyone had a safe and fun NYE, and here is to lots of new music in 2018.

Check out a few photos I took from the show below:
