To no surprise, Louisville beat the living piss out of the Kentucky Wildcats yesterday on the road. Final score: 44-17, and as they say, it wasn’t even that close. For the most part, the Cards put on a workman like performance on both sides of the field dominating at every facet of the game. While UK didn’t stand much of a chance against the boys in red and white, they certainly didn’t help their case by trying to start several fights with reigning Heisman winner Lamar Jackson:
With this victory, Louisville tied the overall Governor’s Cup series at 15-15. Jackson was 15-of-21 passing for 216 yards, two TDs, and no picks. On the ground he tallied up 18 rushes for 156 yards.
