Trying to describe comedy is just an asinine task that you’ll never get right. You just have to watch this to get the comedy, but I’m here to tell you up front that this is awesome. What’s unexpected here isn’t that the humor lands or even the message behind the jokes, but that Andrew Rinehart and company are so remarkable at selling it. Hyperbolic locker room talk and toxic masculinity are the targets here, music to my ears, but in a clever way that escalates with each successive comment. This is smart comedy, the kind that clearly put in the work on their bits, and played out by a cast with good charisma. There is definitely a Kids in the Hall or The State feel here, funny, silly, and over-the-top, but definitely with something to say. But I don’t want to oversell it either. Watch below and see for yourself what the fuss is about.
If you want more, check out an older skit, Cops Do the Darnedest Things, at the link. It’s a little shorter, but no less ridiculous and perfect in its satire. And do Adults Incorporated, that’s the name of Rinehart and his peeps, a solid and vote this as funny, because dammit, it is.
