Mike Rutherford, the man responsible for Card Chronicle (our favorite slice of the Internet that caters specifically to UofL Sports) wrote a book, and we’re excited about it! The book is called 100 Things Louisville Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die and is scheduled to hit the streets October 15. Preorder the book at any of the following links: Amazon (in four different forms), Barnes & Noble, Google or Carmichael’s.
What’s the book about? According to Mike himself:
“100 Things Louisville Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die isn’t quite Card Chronicle in book form, but a lot of the same elements are there. Each chapter is a story about a person or an event or an activity that has defined Louisville sports. There are things included that I knew nothing about before I started researching, and there are stories from some of the key figures associated with U of L athletics that I know haven’t been told anywhere else.”
That sounds awesome, if you ask me (which you didn’t, but that’s fine). It’s also worth mentioning that Rick Pitino wrote the foreword for the book. Check out the book cover image:
