WATCH: Twin Limb – “The Weather”

The weather is a hot topic right now as it creeps it’s way from miserably hot to absolutely perfect and finally, before the year’s end, agonizingly cold. “The Weather” is also the title of Twin Limb‘s latest music video, and the first single from their upcoming album Haplo. The song sounds like a fluid continuation of the beautiful dream pop tracks that made up their 2015 EP Anything Is Possible And Nothing Makes Sense.

The video for this song is absolutely stunning considering how it was made. It’s full of head shots of each member, usually surrounded by some kind of surreal rainbow imagery. The shots are spectacular, but even more so when you find out there are no digital FX being used. A lot of analog tricks were used, including filming through screens that are similar to fireworks glasses. I need those ASAP.

Twin Limb are currently on tour with Jim James, both as an opening act and his backing band. They are in town for a Haplo release show at Headliners on Friday, October 28th. Go here for tickets.
