WATCH: The Uncommon Houseflies tease the release of Tijuana Tornado

The Uncommon Houseflies have a new album coming and they want you to know about it. The band have a kind of Cramps style punk in their pop, that kind of indie infused rockabilly that’s easy to listen to. The video attached below has a Now That’s What I Call Music vibe, that kind of commercialized sensibility that highlights snippets of the album over related artwork. That they skipped on the throaty, Fox Rocks style voiceovers is a bit of a drag here, and definitely a missed opportunity. The thing is, it’s the kind of thing that would fit in here for a band that places such a premium on the humor in their music, like a punked out Tenacious D or Barenaked Ladies sort of thing. You can check the video out below and should expect the new album to drop any day now.
