Karass just keeps getting better and better. Their last album, the collaborative Order of Operations, saw the instrumental indie rock band eschewing their own rules and bringing in vocals; these dudes don’t give a fuck about rules, guys, because they’re musical outlaws. They’re back this week with The Donut Industrial Complex, which is an elaborate and again entirely instrumental album dedicated to the long standing corporate feud between Dunkin’ Donuts and Krispy Kreme that has taken the lives of many. Or I think that’s what it’s about.
Whatever the case, this is a solid album with a lot of bitchin’ parts. You can quote me on that too, if you need album quotes, Karass. “A lot of bitchin’ parts,” is what a wizard writes about your band. You can listen to it below, and expect full a review from us in the future.
